SOTL.com, which has a relationship with the NFL Players Association, did some player polling for league honors. Vikings running back Adrian Peterson won both MVP and Comeback Player of the Year, beating runner-up Peyton Manning in both cases.

In the MVP vote, the website claims 612 players were polled. Peterson was picked on 56.5 percent of the ballots, while Manning was picked on 35.5 percent.

In the Comeback Player of the Year vote, Peterson was the choice of 59.6 percent of the 433 players polled. Manning had 38.3 percent of the votes.
