Wisconsin wolf harvest climbs to 20

Twenty wolves have been shot or trapped in the Wisconsin wolf season that began Oct. 15.

One animal was added to the tally Monday, a male trapped in Oneida County.

Nine wolves have been trapped, the remainder killed by gun.

Thirteen have been males.

Counties where wolves have been harvested include:

• Vilas (3)

• Rusk

• Iron

• Eau Claire

• Lincoln

• Taylor

• Bayfield (3)

• Price (2)

• Florence

• Oconto

• Barron

• Clark

• Jackson

• Oneida (2)
