Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Friday (What happens in Vegas intrigues a lot of Gophers fans) edition: Wha' Happened?

Whatever the percentages added up to in that combination, there seemed to be an extraordinary number of people (at least those we follow on Twitter) who stayed up until nearly 2 a.m. Central to watch all of the Gophers/UNLV game -- including the excruciating three overtimes.
We will leave the game write-ups to those who were there. We will only say this: There were a lot of things to be upset about after that performance, but they might as well be upsetting in a win than a loss.
Much of the rest of this day (we hope) will be filled with guest posts from Gophers fans who were there. We've arranged for two (possibly three) already. If you're reading this and you were there, feel free to add to with an e-mail. And send pictures. Always send pictures of Vegas.
