Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Twins send Tsuyoshi Nishioka to Class AAA despite .667 winning percentage with him in lineup

Tsuyoshi Nishioka was sent to Class AAA Rochester to make room for Trevor Plouffe. Many are hailing the move as an "about time" kind of thing. But we have some numbers that might make you think differently, conveniently presented in the form of a bar graph:
And yes, now that we have discovered how to make graphs very simply via the interwebs, expect this to be our new favorite toy for a few weeks.
