Doors opened early for Lynx-Tulsa game

Candice Wiggins' 17 points in the fourth quarter on Tuesday in a 107-86 victory over Tulsa tied a team record for most points in a period.
Seimone Augustus had 17 points one quarter as a rookie in 2006.
Wiggins looked great on Tuesday, as did the Lynx in shooting 69.5 percent from the field -- a WNBA record. I'm guessing they won't be able to duplicate that today. But 50 percent would be a good target against the team with the worst defensive stats in the league.
One thing is certain: Target Center will be packed. It's camp days, so thousands of youngsters will be in the stands. The doors opened early to accomodate all the groups. As I walked in at 10:30 a.m. -- 90 minutes before tipoff -- the doors were already open. Usually, they open an hour before the game starts.
The Lynx (14-4) broke a three-game losing streak with their win at the BOK Center in Tulsa. Of course, they also want to win today. Its their last game before a five-week break for the London Summer Olympics.
They also have two other West teams at their heels in the WNBA standings. Los Angeles (14-6) is 1 game behind them, San Antonio is 1-1/2 games back and the Silver Stars have won eight in a row.
