Lindsay Whalen scored 25 points and had eight assists and six rebounds as the Lynx beat Chicago 79-67 on Saturday at Target Center in a matchup of the top teams in the West and East conferences.
The Lynx (12-1) have won 13 games in a row at Target Center, counting five games in last year's playoffs.
Three other Lynx starters also scored in double figures: Taj McWilliams-Franklin had 12, all in the first half, while Maya Moore and Seimone Augustus had 10 apiece.
The Lynx led 51-34 at halftime before the Sky (7-3) opened the third quarter with a 12-0 run to close within five points.
Maya Moore finally ended a seven-minute scoreless stretch for the Lynx with a short baseline jumper and then made a three-pointer to make it 56-46 Lynx.
Sylvia Fowles had her ninth double-double for Chicago with 22 points and 13 rebounds.
The announced crowd was 9,267, the second consecutive game the Lynx have had more than 9,000.
