Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. The mystery of the "Maurer" Twins jersey

My friend Brian took this picture at the Twins game Sunday.
This “Maurer” jersey falls into one of 3 categories:
1. Intentional humor
2. Gift from mom
3. Totally aloof
Thought you might like it.
Indeed, we do like it. We would add that there is a fourth possibility: The young man's last name really is "Maurer."
