Four Gophers among national hockey stats leaders

Sophomore center Nick Bjugstad is second nationally in goals with 16 and tied for fourth in points with 27

Sophomore defenseman Nate Schmidt is tied for first in assists with 20 and is second in points among defensemen with 21 -- five more than the D-man Brady Lamd of UMD who is third

Freshman left winger Kyle Rau is tied for first among all players with five game-winners. He is first among rookies in goals with 12 -- three more than second-place Jean-Paul Lafontaine of Minnesota State -- and points with 22 -- four more than anyone else.

Senior goalie Kent Patterson is first in shutouts with six, but two other goalies are closing in with five
