The Minnesota DNR reminded walleye anglers who fish Mille Lacs that beginning Thursday, Dec. 1, four walleyes up to 18 inches may be kept, and that walleyes between 18 and 28 inches must be immediately released.

As a trophy fish, one walleye over 28 inches can be kept..

Regulations for other species in Mille Lacs aren't affected by the change.

Currently, and through midnight Wednesday, Nov. 30, walleyes up to 20 inches can be kept.
