The Twins issued a traffic advisory for tomorrow's game against the Royals. We like to think of it as, "When demographics collide." Here is the reason for the mash-up: The evening of Friday, July 15 will be busy in downtown Minneapolis, as concurrent events take place at Target Field, Target Center, and a nearby lot. Nearly 60,000 people will fill those venues for Twins games and concerts, so it's important that folks plan ahead and explore their transportation options.

Events on July 15
Twins game vs. the Kansas City Royals at Target Field - 7:10 p.m. - Gates open at 5 p.m.
New Kids On The Block / Backstreet Boys (NKOTBSB) concert at Target Center - music begins at 7:20 p.m. - Doors open at 6:30 p.m.
Aquatennial Block Party at Nicollet Mall between 3rd and 4th streets - event begins at 6 p.m. The Twins suggest you plan ahead, consider non-car options to get to the game and either come early or stay late in order to avoid the snarl. We suggest taking it Step By Step and Hangin' Tough, but only because I Want It That Way.
