Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Mid-day talker: In what order would you rank the Twins' starting pitchers?

1. Carl Pavano
2. Francisco Liriano
3. Nick Blackburn
4. Scott Baker
5. Brian Duensing
Now that we're a little past the halfway point and nearing the All-Star break, we throw this out there: If you wanted to re-shuffle the deck in terms of performance, potential, left-right balance and any other factors, how would you do it?
All five starters have either five or six victories to go with five, six or seven losses. Francisco Liriano (5-7, 4.76 ERA) has the worst record and ERA of the bunch, but he has a no-hitter to his credit and has a 2.93 ERA since the beginning of May after that awful April. Two weeks ago the easy No. 5 might have been Duensing, but he has lowered his ERA to 4.25 and looked sharp shutting out Tampa Bay on Monday. Scott Baker is almost certainly your No. 1 at this point. But perhaps you feel differently.
It doesn't particularly matter since starters don't seem to get skipped, but we're just curious: How would you line up the starters based on performance so far this year?
