You can bet your $9 ticket package that the Timberwolves will be marketing Ricky Rubio very heavily.
Rubio, of course, will wear No. 9 for the Wolves -- yeah, we were shocked to learn that it wasn't retired after what Tod Murphy, Kendall Gill and Justin Reed accomplished while wearing it.
The big question we have from that standpoint: Kevin Love became the face of the franchise last season thanks to his play and some serious exposure. Does Love remain the No. 1 Wolves player in terms of marketing? Whose jersey will be more popular in 2011-12 (assuming there's a season): Love or Rubio? And will there be any friction as a result?
