Four players with Minnesota ties are among the 102 hockey players from North America and Europe who have been invited to the NHL scouting combine from May 30 to June 4 in Toronto.

The four:

* Seth Ambroz, Omaha, 6-2, 211 right wing. He has played in the USHL for three seasons, leaving New Prague after his freshman season. Ambroz has signed with the Gophers and will join the team for next season. A power forward. Was expected to be a mid-first round draft choice before this season began, but has slipped deep into second round.

* Mario Lucia, Wayzata, 6-2, 183 left wing. He was a junior for the Trojans this past season. Gets in front of the net, has big shot. Son of Gophers coach Don Lucia. Still uncommitted. Rated state's top high school prospect for NHL draft by Central Scouting Bureau.

* Mike Reilly, Shattuck-St. Mary's, 5-11, 150 defenseman. He is a junior as well. Mike played as a freshman and sophomore for Holy Angels with his brothers, twins Connor and Ryan, now at Sioux Falls in the USHL. All three have committed to the Gophers.

* Joe Labate, Holy Angels, 6-4, 180 center. He has committed to Wisconsin. A list of players invited to the scouting combine lists him at 180 pounds, but several other sources list him at 195.

One other played invited to the combine is Denver freshman Nick Shore, a 6-0, 195-pound center.
