This is where commenter Stu does his thing. It often involves obscure band references (check!) and cheap shots at rivals (check!). Stu? ------------------------

The Hunt Down

Name: Kirk Lowdermilk Claim to Fame, Minnesota: the wonderfully-named, mustachioed Lowdermilk played center for the Minnesota Vikings from 1986 to 1992. Claim to Fame, Everywhere Else: Lowdermilk left the Vikings for Indianapolis in 1993, signing a contract that made him the highest paid offensive lineman in the NFL. The deal: three years, $6 million plus. (By comparison, Steve Hutchinson gets paid that much just to be surly.) He finished his career with the Colts in 1996. The Canton native played college ball for Ohio State, because his last name was Lowdermilk, for Pete's sake. Where He Is Now: Wiki says the Ohio city of Carrollton. By all accounts, he enjoys hunting (scroll down a bit). His son Johnny is tempting fate by taking his glorious surname to [redacted] Iowa City, where he should probably avoid the weight room and Derrell Johnson-Koulianos' house. Is He on Twitter: perhaps. His handle is @trees63, Lowdermilk's jersey number was 63, and the first Tweet mentions coaching football. The account has been inactive since March of 2009, so we may never get any Account Verified finality. David Chase approves. Glorious Randomness: there was a band called Loudermilk in the early part of the last decade. You can buy their debut album, The Red Record, for a penny. Let me know if it's any good.
