Greetings. Kent Youngblood here. Jerry officially has the night off, but he's here running around Target Center anyway. I swear, between Zgoda and Michael Russo I work with two of the most driven dudes around.

Anyway. Jerry had a nice story on Al in this morning's paper. I just thought I'd through out a few tidbits gleaned from his meeting with the press prior to tonight's game.

But first, an injury update: Center Darko Milicic is going to try to go again on that sprained right ankle of his. He started against the Clippers but wasn't able to do much and was pulled. Wolves coach Kurt Rambis, before the game, said he really didn't know what he'd get out of the big guy tonight. "Just from watching him in Los Angeles, from the opening tip, he didn't look he'd be able to do much. So we'll find out tonight. You'll find out when I find out."

Meanwhile, backup center Nikola Pecovic (ankle) and backup point guard Sebastian Telfair (plantar fasciitis) will not play.

Now, back to Al:

--On being back in Minnesota: "I've tried to stay out of the cold weather. Guess I've been gone too long, forgot how cold it is here.

--On his emotions being home: "It'll be different. It was different walking in today, the visiting locker room. But I've been down this road before, with the Boston thing. It will be a little emotional going out there. This used to be the place I called home."

--On the trade being something both sides agreed was best: "Both sides agreed on it. Both sides felt it was the best. Like I said, "I take my hat off to David Kahn and the front office. They could have traded me anywhere, and they put me in this situation, because I feel they want to see me do good and have a great career. You don't see a lot of GMs do that. I take my hat off to him. I have much respect for him, he put me in a great place."

--On whether his patented head-fake will get former teammate Kevin Love to bite: "I'll be disappointed if he does. He should know better. Because Kevin was in the gym with me for hours, and he should know better than that. But hey, that ball fake, sometimes your mind be telling you no, but your body says yes. So maybe he will go for it."

That's about it. I'll get back to you after the game.
