Michael Rand started RandBall with hopes that he could keep lies from conquering the minds of the weak. So far, he's only succeeded in using the word "redacted" a lot. He welcomes suggestions, news tips, links of pure genius, and pictures of pets in Halloween costumes here, though he already knows he will regret that last part.

Q How has the game changed from your playing days?
A It's less physical and the rules have changed, obviously. Based on these rules, if I had to play with my style of play, I'm pretty sure I would have fouled out or I would have been at the free throw line pretty often and I could have scored 100 points.
Nowhere in the interview did we see this set of questions and answers, however:
Q Michael, given how good you were then, do you think that right now, as we speak, you could throw a basketball over those mountains? (Points to nearby mountain range).
A Absolutely. I mean, I've still got it. Just look at me. Look at my van. I've been working on my footwork, my speed, my agility, my strength. These young punks can't touch me. You want to watch my videotape?
Q How about 1,000 points?
A Again, just look at the videotape I made.
