Tuesday (Coach/manager angst and the battle for No. 3) edition: Wha' Happened?

Yes, the fall and winter months are the best here at RandBall. That's not to say you should ever tune out from April-August. But let's face it: playoff baseball, hot stove chatter, months of NFL and college football, Wolves, Wild, Gophers sports ... there is just a lot more to choose from starting right about now.
With that in mind, we had a full and long weekend to ponder a few things. Posts for the rest of the day will examine three things: the angst and love fans feel for Ron Gardenhire (split evenly). The angst and love fans feel for Brad Childress (not split evenly). And just how much their two respective teams have separated themselves from the rest of the sporting pack, leading to a strangely winnable battle for the No. 3 sports spot in this town.
So get your blades, knives, blowguns, swords and incense ready. It's time to head back to school.
