The Velocity Hockey Center is a 130x65 regulation hockey rink that is used primarily in the Spring and Fall for their very popular 3-on-3 hockey leagues, in the summer for their Velocity Hockey Clinics and in the winter for ice rentals to a wide variety of youth hockey associations for their team practices.

The Velocity Hockey Center is a unique hockey rink in that it is two thirds the dimension of a regular ice sheet found in a typical Municipality setting. The smaller ice dimensions at the Velocity Hockey Center help to enhance the overall development of a players’ abilities.

Team Bisch is a charity in support of Jackie Bischoff. Recently, wife, mom, Cohasset Elementary Kindergarten Teacher, sports enthusiast and all around wonder woman Jackie Bischoff was diagnosed with Stage 4 lung cancer. Jackie is a hockey mom of four, and husband Grant Bischoff was teammate and roommate of retired professional hockey players Ben Hankinson, USA Director of Player Representation at Octagon Hockey and Chris McAlpine, Player Representative at Octagon Hockey.

The event is sponsored by Octagon Hockey, part of Octagon Inc.’s worldwide sports agency; selected by the Sports Business Journal as its inaugural Sports Agency of the Year in 2009 representing world-class clients across all disciplines of sports and entertainment. Octagon Hockey has represented NHL clients for more than 30 years and represents many of the top players and emerging stars in the NHL.

Jerseys were donated by Sports World USA, a sporting goods equipment store located in Eden Prairie.
