SAINT PAUL/MINNEAPOLIS, Minn. – The National Hockey League's (NHL) Minnesota Wild today announced the team will make a franchise record 10 national television appearances during the 2010-11 season. The Wild will make nine national appearances on VERSUS and one on NBC. Minnesota made nine national television appearances in 2008-09 (eight on VERSUS and one on NBC). The following 10 Minnesota Wild games will be televised nationally this season: Oct. 7, vs. Carolina (Helsinki), 11 a.m. VS Oct. 8, vs. Carolina (Helsinki),11 a.m., VS Oct.25, vs.Los Angeles, 7 p.m., VS Nov. 2, vs. San Jose, 7 p.m., VS Dec. 27, at Columbus, 6:30 p.m., VS Jan. 4, at New Jersey, 6 p.m., VS Feb. 16, at Chicago, 7 p.m., VS Feb. 20, vs. Detroit, 5 p.m., NBC Feb. 28, vs. Chicago, 7 p.m., VS March 8, vs. Colorado, 7 p.m., VS In addition, the team announced the following start time changes today: Oct. 21, at Edmonton, 8:30 p.m. Dec. 27, at Columbus, 6:30 p.m. Jan. 18, at Edmonton, 8:30 p.m. Feb. 16, at Chicago, 7 p.m. March 20, vs. Montreal, 6 p.m. Also: The Wild's American Hockey League affiliate, the Houston Aeros, will play the Peoria Rivermen in the Aeros' first Xcel Energy Center appearance at 2:30 p.m. Feb. 12.
