Mexican striker Antonio De Nigris dies in Greece; circumstances not immediately known

LARISSA, Greece - Officials at Greek club Larissa say Mexican striker Antonio de Nigris has died in the central Greek city.

A club statement says the 31-year-old died early Monday but says the cause and circumstances of the player's death is not immediately known.

A state coroner is due to conduct an autopsy and announce its results later Monday.
