Preview: The Blazers are 3-3 after Friday's 96-84 home victory over San Antonio. They are 2-2 at the Rose Garden, where they went 34-7 last season. They have sold out 75 consecutive home games. ...Wolves forward Kevin Love and basketball boss David Kahn return home to Portland. Neither is expected to play tonight. ...This is the first of two meetings between the teams in four days. They play again at Target Center on Wednesday.

Players to watch: Brandon Roy leads the Blazers and is ninth in the league in scoring with a 25.2-point average. Roy averaged 24.5 in four games against the Wolves last season. He was once traded for somebody, but we can't remember who. ... The Blazers were 2-3 with free-agent signee Andre Miller coming off the bench at point guard but beat the Spurs with him inserted for Steve Blake at point guard. ...Former Gophers center Joel Przybilla, from Monticello, is averaging 17.3 minutes, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks off the Blazers bench

Injuries: Wolves F Kevin Love (fractured hand) and Blazers F Nicolas Batum (shoulder) are out.

Ex-NBA star Williams won't enter plea Friday in shooting; hearing delayed over travel issues - Retired NBA star Jayson Williams will not be in a New Jersey courtroom Friday to enter a plea in the 2002 shooting death of a hired driver. State Superior Court Judge Edward M. Coleman indefinitely delayed a hearing in Somerville in which Williams was expected to plead guilty. A person with direct knowledge of the situation, who spoke on condition of anonymity because of a gag order imposed by Coleman, told The Associated Press that the delay was partly because of travel problems Williams experienced getting to New Jersey from his home in South Carolina.
