Neither is expected to play tonight. ...This is the first of two meetings between the teams in four days. They play again at Target Center on Wednesday.

Players to watch: Brandon Roy leads the Blazers and is ninth in the league in scoring with a 25.2-point average. Roy averaged 24.5 in four games against the Wolves last season. He was once traded for somebody, but we can't remember who. ... The Blazers were 2-3 with free-agent signee Andre Miller coming off the bench at point guard but beat the Spurs with him inserted for Steve Blake at point guard. ...Former Gophers center Joel Przybilla, from Monticello, is averaging 17.3 minutes, 7.7 rebounds and 1.3 blocks off the Blazers bench
