The San Antonio Spurs' Big Three is down to two. Manu Ginobili will miss the rest of the season and playoffs after tests Monday revealed that his troubled right ankle has gotten worse.

The news leaves San Antonio limping toward the postseason in search of a fifth NBA title since 1999. Ginobili played in 44 games this season, averaging 15.5 points.

The Spurs lead the Southwest Division by a half-game.

Clippers' Randolph arrested

The Los Angeles Clippers suspended forward Zach Randolph for two games on Monday after he was arrested for investigation of drunken driving in the early morning.

Jordan among Hall of Famers

Michael Jordan is in the Hall of Fame. Jordan, whose career scoring average of 30.12 is the highest in history, was elected in his first year of eligibility to the class of 2009 with David Robinson, John Stockton, Utah Jazz coach Jerry Sloan and Rutgers women's coach C. Vivian Stringer.

HORSE RACING

Top trainer being investigated

Jeff Mullins is under investigation by New York racing officials after giving one of his horses a substance before a weekend stakes race. The California-based trainer said Monday it was an "honest mistake."

Gato Go Win wasn't allowed to run in the Bay Shore at Aqueduct on Saturday. Officers said they saw Mullins giving a medication to the horse in the detention barn, where that is not allowed.

Mullins later saddled I Want Revenge, who won the $750,000 Wood Memorial, making the colt a favorite for the Kentucky Derby on May 2.

Another Derby contender injured

Quality Road has a quarter crack in his right hind hoof, putting in doubt his status for the Kentucky Derby on May 2. Quality Road won a major Derby prep, the Florida Derby.

TENNIS

14-year-old girl springs upset

Fourteen-year-old Madison Keys made her WTA Tour debut a memorable one, upsetting the world's 81st-ranked player, Russian Alla Kudryavtseva, 7-5, 6-4 in the opening round of the MPS Group Championships in Ponte Vedra Beach, Fla.

Keys, from Boca Raton, Fla., fell behind 5-2 in the first set but used a serve that averaged 101 mph to win the set. She won the second set with an ace on match point.

CYCLING

Armstrong behavior at test questioned

France's anti-doping agency has sent a report on Lance Armstrong's recent behavior during a drug test to cycling's governing body and the World Anti-Doping Agency.

The behavior wasn't described. The test, in mid-March, involved a hair sample from Armstrong, who is training for an attempt at an eighth Tour de France title.

COLLEGE FOOTBALL

Iowa coach's son among 3 arrested

The son of Iowa football coach Kirk Ferentz and two other football players have been charged with public intoxication after an early-morning incident Monday.

James Ferentz, Zachary Derby and Tyler Christensen, all 19, were arrested at about 2 a.m. after a confrontation with an off-duty police officer.

Christensen refused a breath test. Derby gave two tests that registered his blood-alcohol content at 0.207 and 0.211, and Ferentz was at 0.160.

AROUND THE HORN

Olympic hockey: Ron Wilson, coach of the Toronto Maple Leafs, was officially announced as the coach of the U.S. men's hockey team for the Vancouver Olympics. Reports had said for weeks that he was the choice.
