Tonight's game between the Twins and the Royals has been postponed due to rain. It has been rescheduled as part of a split doubleheader on July 1 at 7:35 p.m.

It has been raining all day here with occasional thunder. And more is coming. It kind of slows the Twins roll a bit, as they opened their weekend set against the Royals with a 6-4 win, storming back from a 4-2 deficit with four runs in the eighth inning. They were 0-10 when trailing after 10 innings before Friday.

The rainout does ensure that the Twins will finish with a winning road trip. They are 3-1 after Friday's win. A win on Sunday, and the Twins finish April with a 12-11 record, matching their mark in the first month of 2014.

Will check back with pitching matchups.

And here they are.

Phil Hughes will face Jason Hammel tomorrow in the series finale. Ervin Santana will open the series against Oakland on Tuesday.

That means the rainout washes out the chance for Santana to go 5-0 this month. Brad Radke, in 2001, is the only Twins pitcher to go 5-0 in April.
