Bundesliga: Borussia Mönchengladbach at Bayern Munich, 11:30 a.m. Saturday, FS2. For years, there was no better rivalry in Germany than the one between Mönchen-gladbach, the club of youth, and Bayern, the club of money. The Munich giants have had the better of the past few decades, but the Foals — nicknamed for the young club in the old days — still harbor animosity.

Serie A: Juventus at AC Milan, 1:45 p.m. Saturday, beIN. There are a few stirrings from AC Milan, who local fans saw this summer at U.S. Bank Stadium. The Rossoneri have struggled in recent years, but early results are good — and now they host Juventus at the San Siro, the renewal of a rivalry. Juventus looks set for another title, but if AC Milan is really resurgent, the recovery starts here.

Premier League: Manchester United at Chelsea, 10 a.m. Saturday, NBCSN. Some of the Chelsea players who fought with Mourinho last season will have a major point to prove.

MLS: Real Salt Lake at Seattle, 3 p.m. Sunday, ESPN. The MLS playoff teams are set in the East, but out West things are up in the air. Seattle needs to win to be assured of a playoff berth; RSL needs a draw. Both teams would clinch if either Sporting Kansas City or Portland fails to win. In Seattle, the playoffs start this week, as both teams will have their seasons on the line.
