Whether or not the Minnesota Lynx win tonight's championship game against the Los Angeles Sparks, Mayor Betsy Hodges will likely be reading books.

Precisely which books are the subject of a wager between Hodges and her L.A. counterpart Eric Garcetti.

Should the Lynx prevail, a city news release says that Hodges will send Garcetti five books by authors "from or connected to" Minneapolis.

They are authors Krista Tippett, Julie Schumacher, Gretchen Marquette, Mary Francois Rockcastle, and Leslie Adrienne Miller.

Garcetti will send his own set of books if the Sparks win, by L.A. authors.

"With the Lynx winning three out of the last five championships, they are already an amazing dynasty," Hodges said in a statement. "They will be hard to beat. And there is nobody like Minneapolis fans to pack our house and cheer our team to victory."
