Gameday: Wolves at Oklahoma City

Last update: November 28, 2008 - 7:22 AM

Preview: The 1-15 Thunder has lost 13 consecutive games since beating the Wolves 88-85, its only victory, Nov. 2 at home. ...The Thunder fired P.J. Carlesimo a week ago and promoted assistant Scott Brooks, former Wolves point guard during the team's second and third seasons, to interim head coach. ... The Thunder led Phoenix by 16 points Tuesday but lost 99-98 at home and then got clobbered 117-82 at Cleveland on Wednesday. ...Tonight's game is the Wolves' second visit to Oklahoma City this month and also their last of the season.

Player to watch: The Thunder's reigning NBA Rookie of the Year, Kevin Durant, was held to 13 points on 6-for-16 shooting Wednesday after reaching 20 or more points in seven of 10 games before that. He had surpassed 29 points three times in five of those last 10 games. Included were a 29-point game in Tuesday's late loss to the Suns, a 30-game night at New Orleans on Sunday and a 29-point, four-steal game at Houston on Nov. 17.

Numbers: Seven of Thunder forward Nick Collison's 10 rebounds in that Nov. 2 comeback victory over the Wolves were on the offensive backboards. The Thunder outrebounded the Wolves 19-9 on the offensive boards that night.

Injuries: Wolves guard Kevin Ollie has missed four consecutive games because of a strained right calf and is probable. The Thunder's Desmond Mason (sprained elbow) and D.J. White (jaw surgery) are out, and Robert Swit (back) is listed as day-to-day.
