The Gophers women's golf team shot a combined 292 Wednesday on the final day of the Las Vegas Collegiate Showdown and finished 16th in the 18-team event with a total score of 885.
Pepperdine won the tournament with a team score of 41-under-par 823. Oklahoma State was second at 835 and Louisville third at 841.
Pepperdine's Lisa McCloskey fired a 54-hole total of 17-under 199, beating UNLV's Therese Koelbaek and Louisville's Cindy LaCrosse by one stroke. Gophers freshman Teresa Puga tied for 40th with a 218, and senior Paige Bromen tied for 45th at 219.
