Lynx guard Monica Wright had arthroscopic procedure done on her right knee Thursday at the Mayo Clinic in Rochester and will be sidelined indefinitely, the Lynx announced.

It is another setback in an injury-filled season for Wright, who missed the first five games of the season with a strained right calf. Wright, a key reserve at the shooting guard position, appeared in seven games, averaging 2.1 points, 1.1 assists and 0.9 rebounds in 11.5 minutes per game, all lows in her six-year career.

Wright's 2014 season was shortened to 24 games when knee surgery caused her to miss the first 10 games of the season.

Wright's most recent surgery likely means more minutes for Anna Cruz, who has played in three games since joining the team after completing her obligation to the Spanish national team. Cruz is capable of playing both point guard and shooting guard.
