Wing Jordan Murphy has committed to the University of Minnesota a source comfirmed to the Star Tribune on Friday.
The 6-7, 220-pound Murphy -- the seventh and final recruit for the 2015 class -- visited Minneapolis earlier this week. He ultimately chose the Gophers over Boston College and Indiana, among others.
"I'm very happy," Murphy said over text. "It's a great feeling and it was a hard decision but I think I made the right one."
The San Antonio native originally committed to VCU but reopened his recruitment after former Rams coach Shaka Smart left for Texas.
He joins a class that includes guards Jarvis Johnson, Dupree McBrayer, Kevin Dorsey, wing Ahmad Gilbert, big man Jonathan Nwankwo and transfer Reggie Lynch.
