1996: Khalid El-Amin caps a 41-point performance with a 23-foot three-pointer as time expired, giving Minneapolis North a 67-65 victory in the Class 2A quarterfinals

2005: Hopkins' Blake Hoffarber sends the Class 4A championship game against Eastview to a second overtime by making a 15-footer from the seat of his pants. Hopkins went on to win 71-60.
