Kevin Garnett has made more than $300 million, solely in salary, during his NBA career. And he has a plan for what he'd like to do with that money, per Yahoo.com:

Brooklyn Nets forward Kevin Garnett doesn't want to be an NBA general manager or coach when his playing days are over. The Minnesota Timberwolves' all-time leading scorer has his eye on an even higher position with his former NBA franchise.

Garnett told Yahoo Sports he wants to one day own the Timberwolves.

"I want to buy the Timberwolves. Put a group together and perhaps some day try to buy the team. That's what I want," Garnett said after a 107-99 loss to the Golden State Warriors on Thursday night.

Glen Taylor currently owns the Wolves (and the Star Tribune), though he said earlier this year that he is interested in finding a minority partner who might ultimately buy his stake in the team. (Garnett and Taylor are pictured together in 1997).

Garnett obviously has an extensive history with the Wolves, having played here for the first 12 years of his career — most of them for current Wolves President of Basketball Operations and head coach Flip Saunders — hence the fact that the Wolves are on his radar as opposed to another franchise. Per Yahoo:

"That is the one that has my interest. I have ties there. Flip's there," said Garnett, 38.

The piece indicated Garnett doesn't have retirement on his mind, though it's hard to think he'll play for much longer — if at all — beyond this season. It will be interesting to see how serious he is about owning the Wolves and how fast he wants to move.
