bloomington jefferson 58, MinneapOLIS SOUTHWEST 12

Fans at Bloomington Stadium were treated to an offensive line clinic. Bloomington Jefferson running back Colton Myles scored four touchdowns and rushed for nearly 200 yards in the first half as the Jaguars dominated the visiting Lakers. The defense was equally impressive, allowing only two drives in the first half to cross midfield. The Jaguars defense outscored the Southwest offense 6-0 in the first half. Nate Buswell had two interceptions, returning one for a touchdown.

Key of the game: The Jaguars dominated both sides of the line of scrimmage. Myles was outstanding, but he had a number of runs where he wasn't touched until he was 10 yards down the field.

Quote: "The line just did work. They handled business, they made their blocks and it was easy running behind them. It was fun; it was a fun game." – Myles

One thing to know: Coming into tonight's game, Jefferson had won more games this season than the past four seasons combined. This is the team's first trip to state in 20 years.
