The Gophers women’s basketball team will host Southeastern Louisiana on Nov. 14 in the first game under new coach Marlene Stollings. The team’s 12-game nonconference schedule was announced Tuesday, and is evenly split between home and road games.

Minnesota plays three of its first four games at home; the first road game is at Memphis on Nov. 23.

The Gophers will participate in the strong eight-team Gulf Coast Showcase Nov. 28-30 at Fort Myers, Fla., opening against Vanderbilt, an NCAA tournament team a year ago. Defending NCAA champion Connecticut or the College of Charleston will be the Gophers’ second-round foe. Georgia Tech, Wisconsin-Green Bay, Arizona State and Villanova are in the other half of the bracket.

Minnesota will host its annual Gopher Classic on Dec. 20-21, facing Liberty and Central Michigan.
