Heather Lendway of St. Paul won the women's title in the USA Triathlon Olympic-Distance National Championships on Saturday at the Milwaukee Art Museum and Discovery World.
Lendway successfully defended her title, finishing the 1,500-meter swim, 40-kilometer bike and 10-kilometer run in 2 hours, 5 minutes, 7 seconds.
"I came in expecting to do well on the swim and the bike, and hoping to do a little better on the run," Lendway said. "I think this is one of the most competitive races I'll do all year."
Steven Mantell of Fort Collins, Colo., won the men's title in 1:50:59.
