Cody Almond, a 2007 Wild fifth-round draft pick who played the past two seasons in Geneva of the Swiss Hockey League, will re-sign with the Wild within the next few days, sources confirmed Monday.

This move comes two summers after the Wild couldn't reach a contract agreement with Almond, a center who opted for a big contract in Switzerland.

Almond, 25, played 25 games over parts of three seasons for the Wild, scoring two goals.
