Moments after becoming the first WNBA player to score 30 or more points in four consecutive games, holding a bag of ice on the five stitches over her right eye, Lynx forward Maya Moore was making the point that it’s not all her.

“Of course they are going to see I scored 30, looking at the points,” said Moore, who had 30 points in just under 31 minutes in Saturday’s victory over the New York Liberty. “But my teammates do so much for me. It’s all a team aggression; I just try to set the tone in the beginning.’’

With the team shorthanded because of injuries, with the Lynx still looking to click, especially on defense, with their new rotation, Moore has stepped into the void in a big way. In her fourth year Moore, the MVP of last season’s WNBA Finals, has ascended to a new level.

“She is unconscious right now,” New York guard Cappie Pondexter said. “She’s playing great. I think that is what they need with a lot of their key players out.”

Here is a by-the-numbers look at what Moore has done through four games, all Lynx victories:

Where Moore ranks in the WNBA in scoring (33.8), player efficiency (34.8) and the combined stat of points/rebounds/assists per game (45.3).

Double-doubles, in four games, tied for the WNBA lead. Also the number of times she has hit five three-pointers in a game this season.
