Twins: Brian Dozier singled to center off L.A. Dodgers starter Red Patterson. Joe Mauer singled to left, Dozier advanced to second. Trevor Plouffe reached on a fielder’s choice to second, Dozier advanced to third and Mauer was out at second. Chris Colabello walked, Plouffe advanced to second. Josmil Pinto hit a sacrifice fly to right, scoring Dozier.

L.A. Dodgers: Scott Van Slyke tripled to right off reliever Anthony Swarzak. Juan Uribe singled to center, scoring Van Slyke.

Twins: With Brandon League pitching, Plouffe was safe at first and advanced to second on Uribe’s throwing error. Colabello reached on an infield single, Plouffe scored on League’s throwing error.
