A homecoming celebration for Olympic cross-country skier Jessie Diggins of Afton will be Wednesday at Lake Elmo Park Reserve Nordic Center.
Diggins posted the highest-ever finish for a U.S. woman in an Olympic cross-country distance event with her eighth-place finish in the 15-kilometer skiathlon at the Sochi Winter Games. She also finished the World Cup season ranked in the top 30 in the sprint, distance and overall standings.
Diggins will sign posters, show slides and share stories from the season.
