First team

Kelly Pannek

Benilde-St. Margaret’s forward, senior

Calm and patient with the puck, she finds teammates and propels the offense with her playmaking skills. Piled up 34 goals and 54 assists. Led the Red Knights to their first Class 2A tournament appearance since 2008. Committed to Minnesota.

Nina Rodgers

Hopkins, forward, senior

Creates matchup problems anywhere on the ice with her toughness, deceptive speed and blistering shot. Scored 26 goals and added 24 assists. “You can’t get to the puck when she has it,” one Lake Conference coach said. Signed with the Gophers.

Taylor Williamson

Edina, forward, junior

Puts on a clinic every game with her great speed, vision and hands and by driving the net with aplomb. Led the Hornets within a game of the state tournament. Posted 29 goals and 19 assists. Verbally committed to Minnesota, her father Dean’s alma mater.

Sydney Baldwin

Minnetonka, defense, senior

Star Tribune Metro Player of the Year. Added clutch scoring to an already potent mix of poise and power. Tallied four game-winning goals and either scored or assisted on each Skippers goal in four games. Finished career with a 19-1 playoff record and three Class 2A titles. Committed to Minnesota.

Bella Sutton

Mounds View, defense, senior

Possesses the skill and speed to rush the puck end-to-end at will. Carried Mounds View, the No. 3 seed in the section, to the state tournament. Total effort each game resulted in 16 goals and 29 assists. Committed to Penn State.

Erin O’Neil

Hopkins, goalie, senior
