WAITING ON HELP FROM ROCHESTER: The Twins are, once again, worried about their pitching staff after having to dip into the bullpen extensively for a second straight night. They hoped that the off-day on Thursday would provide a little break but Toronto hitters have had other ideas this series. Help is a phone call away at Class AAA Rochester, but the Red Wings refuse to go away in the International League playoffs. Rochester beat Pawtucket on Saturday to force a Game 5 winner-moves-on showdown on Sunday. Virgil Vasquez will pitch for the Red Wings. Knuckleballer Charlie Hager goes for Pawtucket. So the Twins are being held up by Rochester's success. How often does that happen? Twins could use a long outing from Andrew Albers on Sunday.

A NICE NOTE: Let's end the evening with a nice E-mail I received from (I think) the fan who caught the foul ball yesterday while holding his son in one arm: ``Last night I attended the Twins game with my wife, her sister, mom and my two year old son. At around the second inning, I caught a line drive behind home plate while holding my son in my left arm. The guy behind me said you tweeted "Catch of the year." This was my son's first baseball game ever and he was excited to be there. Once he got the ball he was totally engaged in the game and he has not stopped talking about the moment. He slept with the ball last night and is sleeping with it tonight! That moment last night was moving for me and him! We all laughed with tears and shock last night when it occurred." The fan is looking for footage of the catch, and I will pass along his note to someone that, hopefully, can help him out.
