Twins: Detroit starter Anibal Sanchez walked Pedro Florimon with two outs. Florimon stole second. Brian Dozier singled to center, scoring Florimon.

Detroit: Bryan Holaday hit a two-out single to left off Twins starter Kevin Correia. Austin Jackson singled to center, Holaday advanced to second. Torii Hunter doubled to center, scoring Holaday and Jackson. Miguel Cabrera was intentionally walked. Prince Fielder struck out, but reached on passed ball, scoring Hunter and advancing Cabrera to second. Victor Martinez doubled to left, scoring Cabrera.

Detroit: Omar Infante singled to left off reliever Michael Tonkin. Jose Iglesias struck out. Holaday flied out to left. Jackson singled to left, Infante advanced to second. Hunter was safe at first on Dozier’s fielding error, loading the bases. Cabrera doubled to left, scoring Infante, Jackson and Hunter.
