The NBA must like the Wolves' international appeal...

The league is following the Wolves' Oct. 20 preseason game in Montreal against Boston by sending them to Mexico City to play San Antonio in a regular-season game on Dec. 4.

You think Ricky Rubio will do a few interviews in Spanish for this one?

And J.J. Barea, too?

The Wolves will be the "home" team in that game, the first of two NBA "Global Games" this season.

Brooklyn and Atlanta will play in London in the other.

This will be the Wolves' second regular-season trip out of the country: They play Sacramento in two games in Japan in 1999.

The Spurs have played four preseason games in Mexico City before, but this will be the Wolves' first trip.

On Monday, the NBA announced Russian team CSKA Moscow -- Kirilenko and Shved's old team -- will play a preaseason game at Target Center on Oct. 7.
