Atlanta: Twins starter Vance Worley walked Jordan Schafer. Ramiro Pena singled to center, advancing Schafer to second. Jason Heyward singled to center, scoring Schafer.

Atlanta: Pena hit a one-out homer to right. Heyward was hit by a pitch. Freddie Freeman struck out. Evan Gattis was hit by a pitch, advancing Heyward to second. Chris Johnson singled to center, scoring Heyward.

FOURTH inning

Atlanta: B.J. Upton homered to left-center. Starting pitcher Paul Maholm flied out to left. Schafer reached on a bunt single to Worley. Pena reached on a fielder’s choice to second, Schafer was out at second. Heyward reached on an infield single, advancing Pena to second. Freeman walked, loading the bases. Gattis homered to right, scoring Pena, Heyward and Freeman.

Twins: Eduardo Escobar was safe at first on Johnson’s fielding error. Pedro Florimon reached on a fielder’s choice to third, Escobar was out at second. Josh Willingham flied out to right. Florimon advanced to second on a wild pitch. Justin Morneau singled to center, scoring Florimon.
