A light rain was falling at Roger Dean Stadium as the Twins took batting practice this morning, but it's not supposed to affect today's game with the Miami Marlins.

The Twins' lineup changed a little bit overnight, though. Josh Willingham was scheduled to make the three-hour bus ride to Jupiter today and serve as the DH, but manager Ron Gardenhire changed his mind during yesterday's game.

"After his last at-bat, he got to first base and I saw him bending over. I thought, 'Either he doesn't want to go on a bus ride, or he's stiff,' " Gardenhire said. "So I talked to him afterward. He said he's a little bit stiff. He texted me this morning, said he's OK. So he's just going to go through the workout this morning."

Brian Dozier was also bumped from the lineup, because Jamey Carroll hadn't played in a couple of days. "I wanted to get Jamey some at-bats," Gardenhire said, "and I wanted someone close to my age I could talk to on the bus."

So here is Gardenhire's revised lineup for his showdown with Marlins manager Mike Redmond:

Hicks CF, Carroll 2B, Plouffe 3B, Parmelee 1B, Clement DH, Boggs RF, Ramirez LF, Butera C, Florimon SS. Worley P.

And for the Marlins:

Pierre LF, Polanco 3B, Stanton DH, Kotchman 1B, Solano 2B, Coghlan RF, Hechavarria SS, Skipworth C, Hernandez CF. Alvarez P.

Get used to seeing Parmelee at first. With Justin Morneau, Joe Mauer and Chris Colabella all headed to the World Baseball Classic this weekend, the Twins' right fielder is one of the few first basemen left in camp. Jeff Clement and Brian Dinkelman may also see time there until the regulars get back.
