In a junior class topped by the nation's prize recruit are two peers who are just as coveted.
Underneath a luminous glow in an otherwise dark room, two of the country's best high school basketball players started talking about another one who wasn't there.
The talk stopped. A camera light flashed, revealing Cooper's Rashad Vaughn and DeLaSalle's Reid Travis in the spotlight. They resumed their small talk between each flash of light during a recent photo shoot. Their subject: Tyus Jones.
Despite both juniors towering about 6-6 with long arms and powerful legs, Vaughn and Reid can't help but be overshadowed by the Apple Valley junior point guard, who is rated by ESPN as the Class of 2014's top player.
Vaughn, a shooting guard rated 10th, and Travis, a power forward ranked 29th, join Jones in making this year's uber-talented junior class unlike any other to come out of Minnesota.
The big guys are different players with different roles, difficult to compare with the more lauded Jones. Read their stories by clicking the links below.
