That FIBA hurdle cleared, the Wolves this morning signed European swingman Mickael Gelabale as well as D League center Chris Johnson to 10-day contracts.
And they'll need both tonight vs. the Rockets at Target Center because now Dante Cunningham is sick and questionable for the game.
Cunningham did not participate in morning shoot and his status for tonight is uncertain.
Both Gelabale and Johnson were at shoot and you can expect both to play, Gelabale more than Johnson most likely.
Johnson, a 6-11 center who played his college ball at LSU, was with the Wolves in training camp and was one of the last players cut.
He is averaging 10.9 points and 6.1 rebounds for Santa Cruz in the D League.
