3A: Patrick Henry 72, St. Michael-Albertville 60

Last update: March 26, 2008 - 11:16 PM

Henry rallies for victory

Recap: Henry trailed 36-32 at halftime, mostly because of St. Michael-Albertville's Theo Rothstein, who had 16 points in the first half on 7-for-11 shooting. The game stayed close until Henry went on a nine-point run in the final two minutes.

Turning point: A three-pointer by Jerry Sweezy gave Henry a 57-54 lead with 4:04 to play. Henry never trailed again.

The quote: "We've been there before. We've been down by 17 points and come back to win. When you have a young team you're going to need to make adjustments.''

-- Henry coach Jerry Williams on not being worried about trailing at halftime

Noteworthy: Rothstein finished with a game-high 25 points. Henry has seven sophomores and three freshmen on its 16-player roster.
