After six years on AM-1500, the Twins are expected to move over to the FM dial by next season.

Update: The Twins and KTWN radio (96.3 FM) have a two-hour live broadcast from Target Field scheduled for Wednesday morning starting at 7 a.m. A news release from the Twins says the broadcast will be followed by an announcement about the team's future radio plans.

"I'm not currently able to comment on Twins radio beyond the current season," Twins President Dave St. Peter said in an e-mail.

St. peter is among those scheduled to be part of the broadcast.

The Twins were on WCCO (830-AM) from their arrival in Minnesota in 1961 through 2006. In 2007, they switched to KSTP-AM, which has since changed its name to 1500 ESPN.

The Twins originally signed a four-year deal with 1500-AM and signed a two-year extension in August 2010.
