Benilde-St. Margaret’s, 6-7, senior forward
Lumpkin has the athleticism to bounce between forward and guard. He can post an opponent, shoot from the perimeter. Lumpkin, who averaged 19.5 points a night, shot nearly 70 percent from two-point range and 82 percent from the free-throw line. He is going to Northwestern.

Benilde-St. Margaret’s, 6-3, senior guard
The son of Washington Wizards assistant coach Don Zierden is a very heady player. He is a very good shooter who can bury shots from deep, making 43 percent of his three-pointers. Zierden also handles the ball well and can get to the rim. He will play at Creighton. He averaged 19.7 points per game.

Hopkins, 6-0, senior guard
He is a leader/coach on the floor, and an excellent defender. The Harvard recruit dictates the tempo of the game on both the offensive and defensive ends of the floor. Chambers has been the Royals’ starting point guard since his sophomore year and has won three consecutive Class 4A state championships.

Apple Valley, 6-2, sophomore guard
The Metro Player of the Year was described by one coach as “the best player in the state, and it isn’t debatable or close.” Jones makes everybody around him that much better. He can dominate a game, and doesn’t need to score to accomplish it. The highly sought-after recruit averaged 28.2 points per game.

Eastview, 6-9, senior forward
King is a versatile player who has the ability to score from all spots on the floor. He can beat you just as easily from beyond the arc as on the block. He also does the ballhandling for the Lightning in certain situations. The prolific scorer, who averages 23.8 points per game, is headed to Drake.
